The eighth Wymondham Words, South Norfolk’s festival of literature, poetry, drama and conversation, returns from 19 October to 2 November, with a fantastic mix of events featuring novelists, nature writers, poets, biographers, crime writers, sports journalists and children’s authors.
Enjoy everything from poetry in a medieval pub to the story of a Jazz Age American conman, a Costa Prize-winning memoir, a free children’s story-writing workshop, strange black magic goings-on in the Second World War, the controversial story of world’s most-expensive cricket ball, and an answer to the question of whether we can save Britain’s wildlife before it’s too late.
Tickets for events are available in person at Kett’s Books, Wymondham and The Book Hive, London Street, Norwich. Tickets can also be reserved by calling Kett’s Books on 01953 603663 and will also be available on the door for most events, as long as there’s any left!
